Anvert is an antihistamine used to treat motion sickness, vertigo, and nausea.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
25-50 mg once daily for motion sickness; 25-100 mg daily in divided doses for vertigo.
Elderly
Lower doses recommended due to increased sensitivity to side effects. 12.5-25 mg daily.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution. Dosage adjustment may be required.
How to Take
Swallow the tablet whole with water. For motion sickness, take 1 hour before travel.
Mechanism of Action
Meclizine blocks H1 histamine receptors in the inner ear and vomiting center of the brain.
