Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
100 mg once daily
Elderly
No dosage adjustment needed based on age alone.
Renal_impairment
Dosage adjustments are required in patients with moderate or severe renal impairment.
How to Take
May be taken with or without food.
Mechanism of Action
Inhibits the DPP-4 enzyme, increasing incretin hormone levels, which stimulate insulin release and decrease glucagon secretion.
