For external use only. Apply a thin film to the affected skin area. The treated area may be covered with gauze if desired. Wash hands before and after application.

Mupirocin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, thereby preventing the incorporation of isoleucine into bacterial proteins.

• Hypersensitivity to mupirocin or any of its excipients.
• Not for ophthalmic or intranasal use (for topical ointment, specifically).

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Systemic overdose is unlikely due to minimal systemic absorption. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice. Local irritation may occur with excessive topical application.

Pregnancy Category B. Studies in animals have shown no evidence of harm to the fetus. Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. It is not known whether mupirocin is excreted in human milk; caution should be exercised.
