Description
Overview of the medicine
Bilfast 20 mg Tablet contains Bilastine, a non-sedating antihistamine. It is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (e.g., sneezing, itchy, runny or blocked nose, red and watery eyes) and urticaria (hives).

No dose adjustment required for mild to moderate impairment. For severe renal impairment, use with caution.
How to Take
Take the tablet orally, preferably on an empty stomach (one hour before or two hours after food or fruit juice). Swallow whole with water.
Mechanism of Action
Bilastine is a selective H1-histamine receptor antagonist. It binds to peripheral H1 receptors, thereby inhibiting the effects of histamine and alleviating allergic symptoms without causing significant central nervous system effects.
