Butamirate Citrate is a non-opioid antitussive agent used for symptomatic treatment of coughs of various etiologies. It acts directly on the cough center, helping to suppress both dry and productive coughs.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
15 ml (22.5 mg) 3-4 times daily.
Elderly
Same as adult dose, adjust if renal/hepatic impairment.

How to Take
Oral administration. Take with or without food. Measure dose accurately using the provided measuring cup or spoon.
Mechanism of Action
Butamirate Citrate acts directly on the cough center in the medulla oblongata, suppressing the cough reflex. It also exhibits a bronchodilating effect and reduces airway resistance.
