Cefixime is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Not typically used for adults in 90mg suspension. Adult dosage for cefixime usually 400 mg once daily or 200 mg every 12 hours (tablet/capsule form).
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment required unless severe renal impairment.

How to Take
