Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
500 mg - 2000 mg daily, divided into 1-2 doses, depending on the indication and severity. For acute ischemic stroke, 1000 mg - 2000 mg daily for 6 weeks.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment is generally required, but caution is advised in elderly patients with pre-existing conditions.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment appears necessary as it is minimally eliminated renally.
How to Take

Mechanism of Action
