Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Typically 500 mg once daily for 3 days, or 500 mg on day 1 followed by 250 mg once daily for 4 days. (Suspension dosage for children varies by weight and infection type, refer to prescribing info.)
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment is needed unless severe renal or hepatic impairment.
