For deep intramuscular injection: Inject slowly into the upper outer quadrant of the buttock. For intravenous infusion: Dilute in 0.9% sodium chloride or 5% dextrose solution and infuse slowly over 30-60 minutes. Must be administered by a healthcare professional.

Dinakion, containing Dinaflam Sodium, primarily acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, which are responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins mediate inflammation, pain, and fever. By inhibiting their synthesis, Dinaflam Sodium reduces these symptoms.

Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Management is symptomatic and supportive, including gastric lavage or activated charcoal if ingestion was recent, and monitoring of vital signs and renal function.

Avoid during the third trimester of pregnancy due to potential for premature closure of the ductus arteriosus and prolongation of labor. Use during first and second trimesters only if clearly needed and benefits outweigh risks. Not recommended during breastfeeding as Dinaflam Sodium may pass into breast milk.
