Uses & Indications
Dosage

How to Take
Take the tablet orally with a full glass of water, preferably with or after food to minimize gastrointestinal upset.
Mechanism of Action
Editoren works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, chemical messengers that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. It achieves this by blocking cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, COX-1 and COX-2.
Pharmacokinetics

30-60 minutes for analgesic and antipyretic effects.
Excretion
Mainly excreted in urine (about 50-60% as metabolites and less than 1% as unchanged drug); some excretion in feces.
Half life
Approximately 2-4 hours.
Absorption
Rapidly and well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract; peak plasma concentrations reached within 1-2 hours.
Metabolism
Primarily metabolized in the liver by oxidation and glucuronidation.

Anticoagulants (e.g., Warfarin)
Increased risk of bleeding.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
