Endamycin 300 mg Capsule is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
300 mg twice daily for 7-14 days, depending on infection severity.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment usually required, but caution with renal impairment.
Renal_impairment
Dose adjustment may be necessary in severe renal dysfunction. Consult physician.
How to Take
Take capsules whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed.
Mechanism of Action
Endamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby preventing bacterial growth.

Side Effects
Contraindications

Statins
Increased risk of myopathy, especially with simvastatin.
Warfarin
May increase anticoagulant effect, monitor INR.
Theophylline
May increase theophylline levels, monitor serum levels.
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
Overdose
Symptomatic and supportive treatment. Gastric lavage and activated charcoal may be considered soon after ingestion. Hemodialysis is not effective.
