Eyemist eye drops contain Carboxymethylcellulose, which acts as an artificial tear to relieve dry, irritated eyes. It provides lubrication and moisture to the eyes, reducing discomfort.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) 2-4 times daily, or as needed.
Elderly
Same as adults.
Renal_impairment
No specific dosage adjustment required.
How to Take
Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid to create a pouch, instil drops, close eyes gently. Do not touch dropper tip to any surface.
Mechanism of Action
Carboxymethylcellulose increases the viscosity of the tears and forms a protective film over the ocular surface, lubricating and moisturizing the eyes.
