Wash hands before and after application. Pull down the lower eyelid to create a pocket. Apply a small amount of ointment into the pocket. Close the eye gently for 1-2 minutes. Avoid touching the tube tip to the eye or any surface.

Gentamicin binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, inhibiting protein synthesis and leading to bacterial cell death.

Store below 30°C. Do not freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Overdose with topical ophthalmic gentamicin is unlikely to cause systemic toxicity due to minimal absorption. If accidental oral ingestion occurs, seek medical attention. Symptomatic and supportive treatment.

Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed and the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. Caution should be exercised when administered to a nursing mother. Consult a doctor before use.
