Insert the suppository into the rectum. It is usually best to insert the suppository about 15-60 minutes before the desired bowel movement. Moisten with water if necessary. Do not take orally.

Glycerin acts as an osmotic laxative by drawing water into the colon and rectum, thereby softening the stool and promoting bowel evacuation. It also has a local irritant effect on the bowel wall, which further stimulates peristalsis.

• Hypersensitivity to glycerin
• Abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting of unknown cause
• Symptoms of appendicitis or acute surgical abdomen
• Fecal impaction or intestinal obstruction

Store in a cool, dry place, below 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Overdose is unlikely with rectal administration. Excessive use may lead to rectal irritation, discomfort, or fluid and electrolyte imbalance (rare). Discontinue use and seek medical advice if severe symptoms occur.

Generally considered safe for use during pregnancy and lactation due to minimal systemic absorption. Consult a doctor before use.
