Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Rinse with 10-15 mL of 0.2% mouthwash for 30-60 seconds, twice daily after brushing teeth. Do not swallow.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment required.

How to Take
For oral rinse: use after brushing teeth, do not dilute, swish for 30-60 seconds then spit out. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after use. For topical use: apply to affected area.

Chlorhexidine acts by disrupting the bacterial cell membrane and precipitating intracellular contents, leading to bacterial cell death. It has a broad spectrum of activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, and some viruses.
