Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
100 mg orally once daily for 7-14 days, depending on infection severity.
Elderly
No specific dose adjustment required based on age, but monitor renal function.

Reduce dose to 50 mg orally once daily for creatinine clearance <30 mL/min.
How to Take
