For intravenous infusion only. Administer at a slow initial rate, gradually increasing if tolerated. Do not shake the vial. Inspect visually for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration.

Human Normal Immunoglobulin provides a broad spectrum of IgG antibodies against various infectious agents. It also exerts immunomodulatory effects by blocking Fc receptors, altering cytokine production, and modulating B-cell and T-cell function.

• Known hypersensitivity to human immunoglobulins or any excipients.
• IgA deficient patients with known antibodies against IgA, due to risk of anaphylaxis.

Store at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Once reconstituted or opened, use immediately.

Overdose is unlikely given the intravenous route and close monitoring during administration. However, volume overload and hyperviscosity could occur. Treatment is supportive and symptomatic.

Generally considered safe for use during pregnancy and lactation. IgG antibodies are known to cross the placental barrier and are excreted in breast milk, but no adverse effects on the fetus or breastfed infant are expected.
