Laxol contains Macrogol 3350, an osmotic laxative used for the symptomatic treatment of constipation. It works by increasing the water content in the stool, making it softer and easier to pass.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
1 sachet (13.8g) dissolved in 125ml of water, once daily, preferably in the morning. Dosage can be adjusted to 2-3 sachets daily if needed.
Elderly
Same as adults, but consider starting with a lower dose.
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment is required for patients with renal impairment.
How to Take
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125ml of water. Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved, then drink immediately. May be taken with or without food.
