Description
Overview of the medicine
Lulikill is a topical antifungal cream containing Luliconazole, used to treat various fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Apply a thin layer to the affected area and surrounding skin once daily for 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the infection.
Elderly

Renal_impairment

How to Take
For topical dermal use only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying. Wash hands after use.
Mechanism of Action
Luliconazole inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol demethylase. Ergosterol is an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, and its inhibition leads to increased fungal cell membrane permeability, causing fungal cell death.

Onset
Clinical improvement typically seen within 1-2 weeks.
Excretion
Not significantly excreted systemically due to minimal absorption. Excretion route of absorbed drug not fully characterized.
Half life
Plasma half-life is not clinically significant due to minimal systemic absorption. High concentrations are retained in the stratum corneum for extended periods.
Absorption
Minimal systemic absorption after topical application.
Metabolism
Not extensively studied due to minimal systemic absorption, likely metabolized in the skin and liver if absorbed.

- •Hypersensitivity to luliconazole or any component of the formulation.
Drug Interactions
No significant drug interactions reported for topical luliconazole due to minimal systemic absorption.
