Store unopened vials below 30°C (86°F), protected from light. Reconstituted solution storage depends on diluent and should follow manufacturer's instructions.

Management involves supportive care and symptomatic treatment. Hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis may be helpful in removing the drug from the bloodstream in cases of severe overdose or renal impairment.

Pregnancy Category B. Studies in animals have not shown harm, but adequate studies in pregnant women are lacking; use only if clearly needed. Excreted in breast milk in small amounts; use with caution during lactation.
