Take orally, preferably 15-30 minutes before meals.

Levosulpiride acts as a selective antagonist of dopamine D2 receptors. In the gastrointestinal tract, this action increases acetylcholine release, enhancing gastric emptying and intestinal transit. In the central nervous system, its D2 antagonism modulates dopaminergic pathways, contributing to its anxiolytic, antidepressant, and mild antipsychotic effects, particularly at lower doses.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, extrapyramidal symptoms, and hypotension. Management is symptomatic and supportive, possibly including gastric lavage and activated charcoal.

Pregnancy Category C. Should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Avoid during breastfeeding as it may be excreted in breast milk.
