Overview of the medicine
Mometasone Furoate nasal spray is a corticosteroid used to treat symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children 2 years of age and older, and for the treatment of nasal polyps in adults.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Allergic Rhinitis: 2 sprays (50 mcg/spray) into each nostril once daily. Nasal Polyps: 2 sprays (50 mcg/spray) into each nostril twice daily.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment recommended for elderly patients.

How to Take
For intranasal use only. Shake well before each use. Prime the pump before initial use or if not used for 14 days or longer. Clear nasal passages before administration.

Mometasone Furoate is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory activity. It inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators and suppresses allergic reactions.
