Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
For mild to moderate pain, initial dose 275 mg or 550 mg, then 275 mg every 6-8 hours or 550 mg every 12 hours as needed. Max 1375 mg/day.

Half life
Approximately 12-17 hours.
Absorption
Well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, with peak plasma concentrations occurring within 2-4 hours.
Metabolism
Extensively metabolized in the liver to 6-O-desmethylnaproxen and other metabolites.
