Overview of the medicine
Nazosol is a nasal spray containing Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride, used to relieve nasal congestion due to colds, allergies, and hay fever.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
2-3 sprays into each nostril every 10-12 hours. Do not exceed 2 doses in 24 hours.
Elderly
Same as adults, or consult physician.
Renal_impairment
No specific dose adjustment required, but consult physician.
How to Take
For nasal use only. Clear the nasal passages before use. Insert nozzle into nostril and spray while inhaling. Do not tilt head back. Avoid contact with eyes.
Mechanism of Action
Oxymetazoline is an alpha-adrenergic agonist that causes vasoconstriction in the nasal mucosa, thereby reducing swelling and congestion.

Contraindications
