Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Apply a thin strip (approximately 1 cm) into the conjunctival sac 2-3 times daily or as directed by physician.
Elderly
No specific dosage adjustment required, similar to adults.
Renal_impairment
Not applicable for topical ophthalmic use due to minimal systemic absorption.
How to Take
Wash hands before and after application. Pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket. Apply a thin strip of ointment into the pocket. Close the eye gently for a few seconds. Avoid touching the applicator tip to any surface.
Mechanism of Action
Orbidex-005 interferes with bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth and replication.
