Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Not recommended for adults in this strength. Adults typically take 500-1000 mg every 4-6 hours.
Elderly
Not recommended for elderly in this strength. Elderly typically take 500-1000 mg every 4-6 hours, adjust for renal function.
Renal_impairment
Dose interval prolongation may be necessary in severe renal impairment (e.g., 8 hours between doses for CrCl < 10 mL/min).
How to Take
Administer orally. Shake the bottle well before use. Use a measuring spoon or oral syringe to ensure accurate dosing, especially for children. May be taken with or without food.
