Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
500 mg every 6-8 hours as needed. Maximum 2000 mg in 24 hours.
Elderly
No dose adjustment typically required, but caution is advised in frail elderly patients.
Renal_impairment
Reduce dose to 500 mg every 8-12 hours in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min).
How to Take
Take orally with or without food. Can be taken with water.
