Overview of the medicine
Rupa 10 mg Tablet contains Rupatadine, a non-sedating, long-acting, selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.

Dosage
Adults
10 mg once daily
Elderly
No dose adjustment required
Renal_impairment
No dose adjustment required for mild to moderate impairment. Use with caution in severe renal impairment.
How to Take
Take orally with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Mechanism of Action
Rupatadine exerts its antihistaminic action primarily by selectively blocking peripheral H1-receptors. It also has an antagonistic effect on platelet-activating factor (PAF).
