Overview of the medicine
Saliben is a fast-acting bronchodilator used to relieve symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps open up the airways in the lungs.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Oral: 2-4 mg three to four times daily. Inhaled: 1-2 puffs (100-200 mcg) as needed, up to 4 times a day.
Elderly
Start with lower doses and adjust based on response and tolerability.
Renal_impairment
Use with caution; dose reduction may be necessary in severe renal impairment.
How to Take
Oral tablets should be taken with water. Inhalers should be used according to specific instructions for proper technique.

Stimulates beta-2 adrenergic receptors in bronchial smooth muscle, leading to bronchodilation.
