Description
Overview of the medicine
Tetrazin 25 mg Tablet is an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic reactions such as itching, sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose. It may also have mild sedative effects.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
25 mg orally, 1-2 times daily or as directed by physician. For insomnia, 25-50 mg at bedtime.
Elderly
Initiate with a lower dose (e.g., 12.5 mg) and adjust based on response and tolerability due to increased sensitivity and potential for adverse effects.
Renal_impairment
Dose adjustment may be necessary. Use with caution in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment. Consult physician.
How to Take
Take orally with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew.

Excretion
Excreted mainly via urine, with some fecal excretion.
Half life
Plasma half-life of approximately 6-12 hours.
