For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area and rub in gently, typically once daily. Do not use on the face, groin, or axillae, or for diaper rash unless directed by a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes.

Mometasone furoate is a potent synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. It induces phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins), which control the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

• •Hypersensitivity to mometasone furoate or any components of the formulation.
• •Untreated fungal, bacterial, or viral skin infections.
• •Perioral dermatitis, rosacea, acne, perianal and genital pruritus.

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Prolonged use of excessive amounts may lead to systemic corticosteroid effects, including Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia, and adrenal suppression. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive, gradually withdrawing the steroid.

Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Caution should be exercised when administered to a nursing woman, and avoid applying to breast areas.
