Overview of the medicine
Timocare (Timolol Maleate) is a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
One drop of 0.25% or 0.5% solution in the affected eye(s) twice daily.
Elderly
Same as adults, with caution for systemic effects.
Renal_impairment
No specific dosage adjustment recommended for renal impairment, but systemic absorption should be monitored.
How to Take
Topical ophthalmic use. Wash hands, tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid, look up, apply one drop into the conjunctival sac, and close the eye gently for 1-2 minutes.

Contraindications
