Instill one drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s). Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any other surface.

Timolol Maleate reduces elevated and normal intraocular pressure, whether or not associated with glaucoma. It primarily reduces aqueous humor production, though some increase in outflow facility has been reported.

• •Bronchial asthma or a history of bronchial asthma.
• •Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
• •Sinus bradycardia, second or third degree atrioventricular block, overt cardiac failure, cardiogenic shock.
• •Hypersensitivity to Timolol Maleate or any component of the formulation.

Store at controlled room temperature (20-25°C), protect from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

Overdose may lead to systemic beta-blocker effects such as bradycardia, hypotension, bronchospasm, and acute cardiac failure. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. It is not known whether Timolol is excreted in human milk. Exercise caution when administered to a nursing mother.
