Description
Overview of the medicine
Urilax 100 mg Tablet contains Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride, a urinary tract analgesic. It is used to relieve pain, burning, urgency, and frequency associated with urinary tract irritation. It works directly on the urinary tract lining to soothe symptoms, but it does not treat the underlying cause of infection.

How to Take

Mechanism of Action
Phenazopyridine is an azo dye that exerts a topical analgesic or local anesthetic effect on the mucosa of the urinary tract. It is excreted in the urine, where it produces its analgesic action on the bladder and urethral mucosa, thereby relieving pain, burning, urgency, and frequency.
