Azikil is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
500 mg as a single dose on the first day followed by 250 mg once daily for 4 days.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage, adjust based on renal function.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment is usually necessary for mild to moderate renal impairment.
How to Take
Take orally with or without food.

Azithromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit.
