Bilasi is a commonly used medication containing Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
500 mg to 1000 mg every 4-6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4000 mg (4g) in 24 hours.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage, but caution with hepatic or renal impairment.
Renal_impairment
Dosage intervals may need to be extended; consult a doctor.
How to Take
Bilasi tablets should be taken orally with water, with or without food.
Mechanism of Action
Paracetamol is thought to act primarily in the central nervous system by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby producing analgesia and antipyresis.
