Description
Overview of the medicine

Uses & Indications

How to Take
For rectal use only. Remove the suppository from its wrapper. Lie on your side and insert the suppository, pointed end first, into the rectum. Remain lying down for a few minutes to allow it to dissolve. Wash hands before and after use.
Mechanism of Action
Painorelaxone acts on the central nervous system, specifically in the brain stem and spinal cord, to produce its muscle relaxant effects. It may enhance GABAergic activity or inhibit polysynaptic reflexes, leading to decreased muscle tone and spasm.

Within 30-60 minutes.
Excretion
Mainly renal, with a small portion excreted in feces.
Half life
Approximately 4-6 hours.
Absorption
Rapidly absorbed from the rectal mucosa, with bioavailability comparable to oral administration but avoiding first-pass metabolism.
Metabolism
Primarily hepatic, via CYP450 enzymes, forming active and inactive metabolites.

- •Myasthenia gravis
