Uses & Indications

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) in children aged 1-11 years, including erosive esophagitis and symptomatic GERD.

Healing of erosive esophagitis in children.

Maintenance of healing of erosive esophagitis to prevent relapse.

Dosage

Adults

Not applicable for pediatric drop formulation; adult dosing is typically 20-40 mg daily.

Elderly

Not applicable for pediatric drop formulation.

How to Take

Overdose

Pregnancy Category B. Use in pregnant women should only be when clearly needed. Esomeprazole is excreted in human breast milk; use with caution in breastfeeding mothers.
