Overview of the medicine
Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain agent used to treat neuropathic pain, epilepsy, and generalized anxiety disorder.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial 75 mg twice daily or 50 mg three times daily, titrated up to 150-300 mg twice daily or 100-200 mg three times daily based on indication and response. Max 600 mg/day.
Elderly
Dosage adjustment may be required due to decreased renal function. Start with lower doses.
Renal_impairment
Dosage must be reduced based on creatinine clearance.
How to Take
Oral, with or without food.
