Overview of the medicine
Paincare is a combination medicine containing Paracetamol and Caffeine, used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, fever, and migraine headaches. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, while Caffeine enhances its pain-relieving effects and helps combat fatigue.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Elderly
Generally same as adults, but caution for underlying conditions.
Renal_impairment
Dose adjustment may be necessary in severe renal impairment. Consult physician.
How to Take
Oral administration with water, with or without food.
Mechanism of Action
Paracetamol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. Caffeine acts as a CNS stimulant, enhancing the analgesic effect of paracetamol and constricting cerebral blood vessels, which helps in migraine.
