Reocef contains Cefixime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, used to treat various bacterial infections.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Adults and children over 10 years: 200-400 mg once daily or in two divided doses for 7-14 days.
Elderly
No dosage adjustment necessary unless severe renal impairment.

Adjust dosage for creatinine clearance <60 mL/min.
How to Take
Can be taken with or without food. For better absorption, take with food if gastrointestinal upset occurs.
