Excretion
Systemic excretion primarily renal. Minimal systemic excretion for topical ocular use.
Half life
Systemic half-life is 3-5 hours, but ocular tissue half-life is not precisely defined for topical use.
Absorption
Minimal systemic absorption after topical ocular administration. Local absorption in ocular tissues.
Metabolism
Primarily hepatic metabolism for systemically absorbed drug, but minimal for topical ocular use.
