Description
Overview of the medicine
Cefepime is a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and febrile neutropenia.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
1-2 g IV every 8-12 hours.
Elderly
Dose adjustment based on renal function.

How to Take
Administered intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM) after reconstitution.
Mechanism of Action
