How to Take
For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before each use. Can be taken with or without food. Use a measuring spoon or oral syringe for accurate dosing.
Mechanism of Action
AcmeCilin exerts its bactericidal action by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It binds to one or more of the penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) which are essential for cell wall formation, thereby leading to bacterial cell lysis and death.

Side Effects
Contraindications
- •Known hypersensitivity to AcmeCilin, other cephalosporins, or any component of the formulation.
- •History of severe hypersensitivity reaction (e.g., anaphylaxis) to any penicillin.
Drug Interactions
Warfarin
May enhance the anticoagulant effect of warfarin. Prothrombin time/INR should be monitored.
Probenecid
May increase and prolong plasma concentrations of AcmeCilin by inhibiting renal tubular secretion.
Antacids (containing aluminum or magnesium)
May reduce the absorption of AcmeCilin. Administer AcmeCilin at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after antacids.
Storage
Store dry powder below 30°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. After reconstitution, store in a refrigerator (2-8°C). Do not freeze.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, epigastric distress, and diarrhea. In severe cases, neurotoxic reactions such as convulsions may occur. Management is symptomatic and supportive. Gastric lavage may be indicated, and hemodialysis may be considered for significant overdose.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Pregnancy Category B. Studies in animals have shown no evidence of harm to the fetus, but there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. AcmeCilin is excreted in human milk in low concentrations; use with caution in nursing mothers.
