Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
500 mg as a single daily dose for 3 days or 500 mg on day 1, followed by 250 mg daily for 4 days.
Elderly
Same as adult dosage, with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
Renal_impairment
No dosage adjustment is usually necessary for mild to moderate renal impairment.

Take with or without food.
