Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
Initial dosage for adults is typically 0.25-0.5 mg, 1-2 times daily, titrated according to patient response and tolerability.
Elderly
Elderly patients should start with a lower initial dose, such as 0.25 mg once daily, due to increased sensitivity and slower elimination.
Renal_impairment
Dosage adjustment may be necessary in patients with renal impairment; use with caution and monitor closely.
How to Take
Denixil tablets should be taken orally, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Mechanism of Action
