Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults
1 mg taken orally, 2-3 times daily, or as directed by a physician.
Elderly
Initial dose of 0.5 mg, 2 times daily, adjusted as needed and tolerated.

How to Take
Take orally with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Mechanism of Action
Denixil enhances the effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter that inhibits brain activity, leading to sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, and muscle relaxant properties.
