Nixon 500 mg Injection can be administered either intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM). For IV administration, it should be slowly infused over 30-60 minutes. For IM administration, it should be injected deep into a large muscle mass.

Nixon works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, leading to the disruption of bacterial growth and multiplication. This action is primarily bacteriostatic at lower concentrations and bactericidal at higher concentrations against susceptible organisms.

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep the reconstituted solution stable for up to 24 hours at room temperature or 72 hours under refrigeration.

In case of overdose, symptomatic and supportive treatment should be initiated. Hemodialysis may be considered in severe cases to remove the drug from the bloodstream.

Nixon should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed and the potential benefits outweigh the potential risks to the fetus. It is excreted in breast milk; therefore, caution should be exercised when administered to a nursing mother. Consult your doctor.
