Description
Overview of the medicine
Optimox-05 Eye Drop contains Moxifloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic, used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis and other ocular infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial DNA replication.
Uses & Indications
Dosage
Adults

How to Take

Mechanism of Action
Moxifloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, enzymes necessary for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. Inhibition of these enzymes leads to bactericidal activity.
