Dosage

Adults

Initial dose 3 mg once daily. May be increased to 6 mg after 2 weeks based on response. Maximum recommended dose 12 mg daily.

Elderly

Initial dose 3 mg once daily. Close monitoring recommended due to increased sensitivity and potential for adverse effects.

Renal_impairment

No dose adjustment typically required for mild to moderate renal impairment. Use with caution in severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min); consider lower starting dose.

How to Take

Take Secrin 3 mg Tablet orally once daily, with or without food. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

Mechanism of Action
